Hair Loss
What is hair loss?
Rebuild density and support hair growth
Hair loss is a medical condition in which the normal hair growth cycle becomes disrupted, leading to excessive shedding, thinning, or visible scalp. It may occur due to genetic pattern hair loss, autoimmune conditions like alopecia areata, inflammatory disorders, hormonal influences, or temporary disturbances in the hair cycle. At Dr Garara's practice, hair loss is approached scientifically, beginning with assessment before developing a regenerative plan to restore follicle health and encourage stronger hair growth.

Your hair loss treatment with Dr Garara
PRP: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) uses the healing components naturally found in your own blood to stimulate hair growth. A small blood sample is processed to concentrate platelets, which contain growth factors that signal tissue repair. When injected into the scalp, growth factors stimulate dermal papilla cells within the hair follicle, increase blood supply, and prolong the anagen growth phase.
Platelet-derived exosomes: Exosomes are microscopic signalling particles released by platelets that carry growth factors, proteins, and genetic messages between cells. When delivered into the scalp, these signals activate regenerative pathways around the follicle, helping to stimulate dormant follicles and reduce inflammatory stress that can impair growth.
SeffiHair: SeffiHair is a regenerative treatment that uses adipose-derived regenerative stem cells obtained from a small sample of your fat tissue. After processing, these regenerative cells are injected into areas of thinning hair, where they release growth factors that stimulate follicular activity, improve blood supply, and support the stem cell niche surrounding the follicle.
Polynucleotides: Polynucleotides are regenerative molecules derived from DNA fragments that support cellular repair and reduce inflammation within the scalp. When injected, they stimulate regeneration, improve microcirculation, and strengthen the extracellular environment surrounding the hair follicle, creating a more favourable environment for long-term follicle resilience.
